Annie Mist Thorisdottir is a professional CrossFit athlete from Reykjavik Iceland. She is the co-owner of Crossfit Reykjavik where she also is a coach and trainer. Annie is the first woman to win the CrossFit Games twice. She was second at the CrossFit Games in 2010 and the 2014 edition. Annie Thorisdottir - an Icelandic weightlifter and CrossFit participant and media star - is a CrossFit athletes from Iceland. The popular athlete is the first woman to win in the CrossFit Games twice in 2011 and 2012. Her other achievements includes winning the Dubai Fitness competitions in 2017 and 2013. Annie and her parents and siblings were all born and brought up at Reykjavik Iceland. Since a young child she was a sports and fitness enthusiast. She participated for the first time in 2009, in the CrossFit Games in California and did extremely well. Annie Thorisdottir's age is 31 years old (as of 2021). She's 5' 7 and weighs around 67kg. Annie began CrossFit Training in California in the year 2009. In the initial games she did very well and was ranked in the Top 10 out of 70. Even though she wasn't able to take home any titles She finished in the 11th position. In 2010 Annie finished 1st in European Regionals Qualifier. In CrossFit Games under the guidance of her coach Jami Tikkanen, she placed in seconds place and won an Olympic silver medal that same year. Due to her exceptional performances, she was able to claim her first CrossFit Games title and become the first female CrossFit Games winner. Annie became the very first female who has ever won consecutive CrossFit Games. In 2012, Annie once again became the CrossFit Games winner due to an exceptional performance. She also won a gold medal. Then in 2021 she won the bronze medal. Presently, Annie coaches and trains for Crossfit Reykjavik which was started by her. Annie has become a famous athlete following her fame. She has been associated with a number of brands in sports like Reebok Rogue Fitness Transparent Labs Revolution Periodization Nuun Hydroxylysis Sidekick Yerbae, among others.
