Luciana was raised at home in Rome by her parents - Luciana's dad was Manlio Paoluzzi an Italian military officer. Her maternal grandmother was Maria Rota Paoluzzi who was once one of Benito Mussolini's lover's wives. There's no evidence of her siblings. Luciana is the only female who has graduated from her high school class from Milan. Luciana also studied nautical engineering there. Luciana began as an actress in fashion after two years. The direction of her career was changed afterwards, when by pure luck, she was offered her first part in Three Coins in the Fountain. Brett Halsey, an actor himself, was her very first wife. They completed Return to the Peyton Palace following their wedding in 1960. Luciana was granted custody following the divorce. The couple had a child boy called Charles who was born in June 1961. Luciana was an actress as well as producer, was with Tony Athony from 1962 until the year 1970. Tony Athony had been impressed by the performance of Luciana on Green Slime.
